Against the odds, against expectations, we made history.

I was thinking about what I could create to celebrate this historic moment when I started listening to Kaya by Mosta Man.

And then it happened. As the music played, I could see the necklace in my mind. The bold chain, the Curaçao silhouette, every little detail. I didn’t need to sketch it. I already knew what I wanted to make.

And these words went straight to my heart:

“Nos ta bini foi tera chiki, pero soño sin limitashon.”

“Foi chiki m’a para duru, soño grandi den mi kurason.”

Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve had dreams and goals that I was determined to accomplish. I’ve always believed in staying focused, working hard, and finding another way when things don’t go as planned.

That’s the spirit behind this necklace. Created to celebrate a historic moment, but carrying a message that goes far beyond football.

And the name? In Curaçao, when something is extraordinary, we call it heavy. So I gave our original island silhouette more presence, paired it with a bold chain, and kept every bit of its sophistication.

Designed for women and men alike. The longer lengths are especially popular with men.

Materials & care

Made from 316L stainless steel with a durable PVD finish. PVD is the coating process we choose for lasting colour through everyday wear, rather than a finish that quickly fades or turns green. With long-term wear, fine surface scratches can soften the shine.

Stainless steel is generally well tolerated by sensitive skin, though individual reactions can vary.

Clean gently with lukewarm water and mild soap, then pat dry with a soft cloth. Rinse and dry after swimming, and avoid direct contact with perfume, cleaning products, and other strong chemicals.

Colours and textures may appear slightly different depending on lighting and screen settings. Some pieces are handmade, so very slight variations may occur. The same piece may look larger or smaller on you than on the model, depending on your proportions.

I wanted to wear my island, and I wanted to wear it beautifully. That’s how our OG island designs began.

Maybe Curaçao is home. Maybe it’s the island that shaped you, where you fell in love, or where someone you love comes from.

Standard orders are dispatched from Rotterdam within 1–2 business days with PostNL or DHL. Delivery to the Netherlands and Belgium is estimated at a further 1–2 business days after dispatch. Netherlands shipping is €4.25 with tracking and free on orders of €100 or more. We ship to most parts of the world; international delivery times depend on the carrier, local delivery services and customs where applicable. Shipping options and prices for your address are shown at checkout. Custom-order timing is agreed separately. Rotterdam pickup is available by confirmed appointment.
