If you grew up in Curaçao, this might bring back a few memories.
Remember singing Salu ku bolo nos ke at school whenever someone had a birthday?
At my school, we'd always finish with a little wish for many more years of life, good health, and plenty of chipi chipi. Enough for yourself, and some to share with us, of course!
I still smile thinking about it.
This Papiamentu birthday card is a little nod to those childhood memories and the lovely tradition of wishing someone all the good things in life.
