Let’s get one thing straight: at CONCEPT STATEMENT, we don’t do “just jewelry.” We create pieces with meaning. Pieces that outlive trends. Pieces you can wear a hundred different ways and still feel like you. Every design is made to speak for you: your beliefs, your values, your story. These aren’t little add-ons. They’re statements.

HOW WE WORK
Every creation begins as a concept — a spark of imagination — and evolves into a statement piece under the vision of our founder, Rugeen Lodewijks. Born in Willemstad, Curaçao and now based in Rotterdam, Rugeen blends creativity, culture, and purpose in everything she creates. With a background in Business Communication and Design, and a passion for science, music, fashion, and food, she brings a multidisciplinary approach to jewelry design. Proud of her Caribbean roots, she creates under the authority and guidance of God, the Great I Am. This is the heartbeat of CONCEPT STATEMENT: where beauty, taste, and faith meet, shaping designs that carry both style and purpose.
